How does it work?
Sending eMails
When ZixMail users send an email, they will have the option to flag it within Outlook as a message that needs encryption. The email then gets routed to the ZixVPN, hosted at Netgain, where it is encrypted and provides time stamping and authentication for irrefutable proof of delivery and receipt.
Receiving eMails
Recipients that are ZixMail users will receive an email notifying them that they have a message waiting, and will receive a link to the encrypted message.
