While software makes businesses productive, it demands a lot of attention to licensing and upgrading to remain effective. Netgain offers these services through our
Infrastructure as a Service and
Desktop Hosting solutions.
Many businesses buy excess software licenses because many employees have multiple workstations (an office computer, a laptop, and a home computer) that they access the software from. Other businesses don’t purchase enough licenses and break copyright laws by using the same license on multiple workstations.
At Netgain, we ensure you only pay for the licensing you need and use and we assume the liability for noncompliance. We have experience hosting most applications and work with the software vendor if we don’t already host it.
Microsoft software & licensing
Netgain’s close partnership with
Microsoft allows our clients to rent Microsoft licenses, rather than purchase them from Microsoft. Renting the licensing not only affords our clients the ability to pay for the licensing fees over a period of time, but also provides the latest Microsoft software to our clients, without the upgrade fees or hassle of installation on each workstation.
Installation & testing
Netgain manages the installation of all software programs on our terminal servers. We first install them in a test environment to ensure they are functioning properly before we deploy them to the client’s environment.
Third-party software hosting
Because Netgain acts as an outsourced IT department for some of our clients, we host, maintain, and manage all of their applications, rather than just Microsoft applications or just EMR/EHR applications. By hosting
all of our clients applications, they enjoy the lowest total cost of ownership.
With over 300 software titles deployed in our
data center, Netgain has the ability to host almost any software. We also manage the licensing of the software and make sure you’re always compliant and only paying for the amount of licenses you use.
EMR hosting
For our healthcare clients, Netgain has developed relationships with many EMR vendors and works with the vendor to deploy the
EMR in a hosted environment.
